A smart choice for your pavement: Eco-friendly sealcoating FREE of PAH
Traditional sealcoats contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)… a known human carcinogen. Many communities across the U.S. have banned coal-tar-based sealers due to their high PAH content. These PAHs enter the environment via runoff, foot and vehicle traffic, and air volatilization. Our eco-friendly sealcoat formula has no detectable PAHs based on EPA 8270 testing.
A Community in Crisis
7 cities in Twin Cities area are in an environmental crisis. They are suing several large chemical refiners over the contamination of hundreds of stormwater ponds caused by a black sealant sprayed on parking lots, driveways and playgrounds. The pavement sealants used contained high levels of a carcinogenic chemical (PAH's) that eventually spread into area soils and waters.
